An early bird that I am this time. I felt like it deserved its time to shine due to how good the song is, despite the fact that I'm often forgetful about Inabakumori's work, I know I'm an idiot but it happens. This will be a fun different than the other times because this time I feel confident enough to understand the lyrics of this music (At least the message shown there).
The song speaks about reshaping oneself in order to please a lover, forcing yourself to be someone you're not because you are terrified of upsetting but in the end it left in much more pain.
I think it encapsulate the aspects of these lyrics extremely well, the overall tone of this music is serious, a bit sad but at times there are short moments of happy tunes, a brief moment of bliss due to the love felt but overwhelmed by the jagged melody showing how wrong it is. Even without understanding the lyrics it feels like living in a corrupted world but accepting its nature.
Its wrong, everything about it is wrong, but the bliss of life makes it bearable. Or it seems like so.
