I know it might sound controversial since Gen 4 really isn't that popular. But it's one of my favorite gens, it was my first Pokémon game so there might be bias in this, but the feeling I got when playing Pokémon Pearl for the first time, it was a feeling I never got with any other Pokémon game. I don't know how to describe this, but when I hear the thmes again I get shivers in my body, when I've played the game again I've got hit with the most sudden nostalgia. Something the remakes couldn't have given me, I got very dissapointed with the remakes.

But enough rembling about the games, I'm here to speak about Eterna Forest in particular, it has some kick I can't describe either, y'know ? It's mysterious and it fits perfectly the fact that this forest possesses the most mysterious manor that has still unsolved mysteries. It's calm, yet daunting, relaxing yet ominous. Nothing technically wrong happens there, but a mind can clearly fill in the void and imagine what can happen. A masterclass in music telling.
